 The DCM Los Angeles
Feast of Friends Tour 2002

April 3-7 2002,
Hyatt Hotel, West Hollywood, CA, USA

The inspiration for this Los Angeles tour is to extend the hand of friendship to our members across the world and to offer our strength in support of the travel industry. As The Doors have proven many times before, their music has the power to transcend language and culture barriers to gather us together in a common cause. We couldn't think of a time when we've needed them more.

An informal welcome party for our out-of-state travelers is scheduled for the evening of April 3rd. The DCM Feast of Friends Tour offers a non-structured opportunity for Doors fans to meet and discover Los Angeles on their own or in small groups. This page will keep you informed of all Doors related events taking place during the week and what the City of Night has to offer.

How to Get Here & Where to Stay:

We won't be offering complete travel packages on this Tour, but check out these sites for transportation and lodging.

Chick here for The Hyatt Hotel and search "West Hollywood" for room rates & reservations. 3 star

Click here for Sunset Plaza Best Western and search for "West Hollywood." This hotel is just across the street from the Hyatt. 3 star

Air fares, all West Hollywood hotels, and car rentals are available through Expedia.com, our preferred travel agency. The West IS Best, come and join the party!

Expedia codes:

Los Angeles International Airport - LAX
Burbank Airport - BUR
(less hassle but limited flights and same distance as LAX from West Hollywood)

Hotel Destination City - West Hollywood, CA, USA
Hyatt West Hollywood Hotel
(there are other hotels close to The Hyatt in West Hollywood, but check the maps and don't stray too far because this is a BIG city ... Metro Rail service is NOT yet available in this area)

SuperShuttle
(if you are apprehensive about driving in Los Angeles, we won't recommend it. We've purposely based this tour in a safe area within walking distance of restaurants and nightclubs). A SuperShuttle is about $20 from either LAX or BUR and they offer discounts for round trip reservations. Pickup is just outside baggage claim and you'll get dropped off at your hotel entrance).
